This superb and very unusual Murano glass chandelier, designed to add a touch of fun to any space, may be a modern shape and design, but its roots are set firmly in the past, as it is hand-blown by a skilled Venetian glass master, using traditional techniques passed down from generation to generation. The extraordinary shape of the arms is only possible because Murano glass contains soda, which is used to slow down the cooling process, thus allowing the glass to be hand-shaped for longer.

The size shown here has six lights, and is a very substantial and impressive work of Murano glass art. The black glass version contains accents of 24 carat gold.
