Rare original Model 201 sofa by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia. Sofa features three-seat, tufted cushions, oak legs and original green Hallingdal wool by Kvadrat (designed by Nanna Ditzel). This is the old model 201 which was the first sofa that Børge Mogensen designed. The model is still in production by Fredericia under the "Series 1" name. The original owner purchased this piece new, in Germany, in the early 60's and then had it shipped to the states where it has sat, undisturbed, since 1966! A wonderful original example of an iconic design from one of the most renowned Danish Modern designers of the day!
